History
During the year 2000, the Inter Metals Groep evolved out from M. Titsing metal- and cable recycling. A suitable location was found in Enschede for Inter Metals BV, while in Ochtrup (Germany) a second branch was established:
Inter Metals GmbH.

Iron in Enschede
Inter Metals BV at Enschede is immediately placed in the harbour where we have at our disposal our own loading- and discharging quay. Because of this, it is possible to transport our iron in an economical way to our domestic and international clients.

The collection occurs at factories in the region, through the distributive trade and partially also through private individuals.

Non-Ferro in Ochtrup
Non-Ferro is being bought and sold world-wide. The material is being sorted out and, where needed, beaten. Afterwards, it is being delivered to the client.

Detection gates
On both our locations, the materials are being controlled for radio-activity as they arrive.

MRF and BIR
Inter Metals is affiliated with the MRF, the Metal Recycling Federation and with the BIR, Bureau of International Recycling.
